Last night Target sponsored a National Night Out in our neighborhood. The Maple Valley Police Department, Fire and Life Safety, King County Sheriff's office and the Department of Corrections Office was there. They had a fire truck for the kids to climb in. A swat helicopter landed in the park! They were serving hot dogs, chips and pop. Tons of neighbors were out.
And we missed all of it! We were getting our hair cut! Although we love Charissa, I would have rather watched a helicopter land in our front yard!
Drats! Hopefully they do this again next year!
