Sydney Turns 2!

Here's the birthday girl right after she woke up on her birthday. She always wakes up happy!

That night we ate pizza and had cake and sang Happy Birthday to her. Yes, she stayed in her pajamas all day!

She huffed and she puffed but couldn't quite get the air out of her mouth! She does a great impersonation of Popeye though!

Her party on the 17th at The Little Gym. She was trying to show everyone that she is two but couldn't get the fingers down. I didn't even think to work with her on it. Those poor second-born children. So neglected!

She got to stand in the middle of the parachute! Miss Sierra sang a song about colors and they would go stand on the color and we would all shake the parachute and yell 'Yay'.

Sydney really enjoyed it!

This is a funny picture of Quinn. She's in motion so it's a little distorted but I just love the smile on her face! She was having so much fun she didn't realize that she had a little diarrhea accident. Daddy had to go home and get her another set of clothes but didn't get back in time so she had to sit out of some of the activities - the ones she really likes too! She was a good sport about it though. It makes this picture all the more special because she was having the time of her life.

Getting ready for cake. Look at the look on her face. I know she was thinking what I was thinking, which is "we puked up the last birthday cake we ate so are we really going to try to eat more?!" K.C. made sure not to get chocolate so I gave it a try. I don't think Sydney touched hers and Quinn only ate a tiny bit. We don't forget too easily that's for sure!

Annika kept coming up and taking Sydney's food and juice so finally Sydney just started feeding her. It was the cutest darn thing!

Time to go home! Bye bye birthday girl!

We had a fun time and are thankful for our friends that came out to help Sydney celebrate. Especially after hearing that we just had the flu! As always, it was too short of time but it was still nice to be out and about and celebrating this beautiful girls' second year of life! Wish you all could have joined us! Maybe next year.
