Happy Fall Update

I LOVE the cool air!! I don't know what happens to ones body during/after child birth, but I sure can't stand the heat anymore! Anyway.....

I'm posting from the treadmill again today. I did a post from the computer a week or so ago but it's not here! I have no idea what happened to it! Oh well, just as well I guess.

Acupuncture update: All is going well! We did a reassessment a couple of weeks ago and I am improving in all areas! I have been getting headaches recently but thought it was due to the fact that I may need glasses again(Quinn and I go in on Friday for eye appointments). My acupuncturer took my pulse and told me to drink more water. I had cut way down on my water intake so drinking more has really been helping. My last cycle, I barely knew I was having! I had maybe 1/2 a day of cramping and 'normal' bleeding and that's it! This cycle I haven't had the major cramping yet but I have started bleeding a week early, as I usually do. My mood is good and my temper is in check so I am very much loving the results up to this point! I should have done this YEARS ago!!

Work is going well. I'm working 34 hours in 6 days every week. It's what I requested so it's all good. I love membership and love getting home well before midnight each night!

I've quit the gym. I have free access to the corporate gym at work so I couldn't justify paying $70 each month any longer. The main reason though was that I thought I was going to have to start making car payments (my car is on it's last leg). But, I've told K.C. that instead of getting 50% of his 401k, I just want enough to buy a decent car for the girls and I.

And that leads me to the final update. We are moving forward with the divorce. We aren't getting lawyers, we are doing it all mutually and just getting help to file the papers (and know what papers need filed). We are both ok with it and are both looking forward to being friends and co-parents. Life is good! I'm in my happy place but, for the first time ever, it's in the real world, not the one in my head! Feels good.

Poke Free for Two Weeks

My acupunturist called and canceled my Wednesday appointment. He said he hasn't been this sick in years! So, I haven't had a treatment for two weeks now and I'm going on a week with no herbs.

I'm feeling things in my abdomen. Not pain really. Maybe I'm feeling myself ovulate? Not sure if I'm at that point in my cycle and am too lazy right now to check. Do you even ovulate when you're on the pill? I'm so ignorant to all of this stuff. You'd think I'd be an expert on it with all of the issues I've had over the years! Anyway, I also feel what I felt when I was pregnant and would move the wrong way and there would be a quick, sharp, shooting pain. I hope going two weeks without treatment won't set me back!

The meat eating is going surprisingly well. I actually made a dish with ground beef and not only ate it but have eaten a couple of days worth of leftovers too! Of course I bought the expensive grass fed beef so that may have something to do with it. I hope not though since my budget won't allow for the organic, grass fed stuff for every dish! Well, I guess it would if it were just me eating it and I made it the side dish instead of the main dish. It's so hard to relearn what a complete meal should look like! I'm trying hard to make my salad the biggest portion on my plate and the meat the smallest. I think I should just keep practicing cooking the perfect steak (for me, there's no trace of pink but it's tender enough to cut with a butter knife) and forget the casseroles. After all, I still am trying to get the whole family to eat healthy!

I thought meal planning would be easier but it's just as hard! So many yummy sounding/looking recipes out there. I think half of the problem is I don't think the recipe will taste as good as it sounds/looks and the other half is I just don't feel like making it! Yet another reason to just do the seasoned meat, big salad and veggies etc. Maybe I'll throw in one casserole a week or something. I hope I get it figured out some day! As it is, I've spent all morning trying to come up with a meal plan for next week!

I think I am ready to give chicken a try again. I know I'd love the breaded chicken strips that are so bad for us so I don't even want to go there! I'll have to search for a healthier recipe for my first bite in three years!

We made it to the gym every day this week except today! I still don't feel like I have enough energy to work out like I want but I did do a lot of walking and some running on the treadmill and then yesterday did some of the machines. I haven't made it to any of the classes yet.

I'm interested in trying Cross Fit. It's basically an intense 15-20 minute cardio and weight workout that a lot of army and firefighters do. A lot of folks run classes out of their garages around here. It would be great but I would need some sort of daycare for the girls - not to mention some more energy! I guess I could do it while they are both in school but that would only be two days a week (that they are both in school at the same time) - and those two days are when I'm going to try to work a few more hours so that wouldn't work at all! I'll figure something out, I'm sure!

We decided to have Quinn's birthday party at the gym! We can rent out the playroom and the exercise room for a good price and she can have up to 15 friends! I'm sure she'll want to invite all of the kids in her class (whom she hasn't even met yet!) so that will work out well.

Lazy day today! I've spent it on the couch with the girls, reading cookbooks while they watch their shows. I picked up a shift last night so I decided I deserved a day off before my long weekend shifts start! Yet another 6-day work week for me. It's no wonder I'm always tired!

Off to watch a Netflix movie before I have to get ready for work! Dishes/laundry/cleaning will have to wait!

Look Out World, I'm Hitting Snooze and Beef - The Gateway Meat

My first morning of getting back on track. Alarm went off at 6:30, I rolled over Sydney and turned it off. Next thing I knew, Sydney was asking me for breakfast at 8:30. So much for hitting the ground running! I got a total of zero chores done but we did manage to make it to the gym. Not in time for the Boot Camp class though so I just walked on the treadmill and sprinkled in some running here and there.

We invited Jack and Ben to the gym with us since we haven't seem them in over a week (gasp!) so brought them back to the house for lunch too. I really wish I had their energy! I just want to take a nap! I'm off tonight so we'll see how much (productive things) I can get done between now and bedtime.

As I knew it would, my beef consumption has turned into bacon consumption. Bacon is my favorite meat and what I miss the most when I eat vegetarian. How sick is that? Probably the nastiest, worse thing for you (hot dogs aside) and it's my favorite. I don't get it.

My acupunturist called this morning to cancel my appointment for this afternoon. He's sick. I'm out of herbs so I get a little reprieve from that. Although I think I'm getting use to it now. And I've only been doing once a day since I didn't see him last week to refill.

I guess the moral of the story is that I am starting to feel better but I'm not quite there yet.

In other news, I got Quinn signed up for the Jr. Kindergarten class at Sonship (her old preschool). Oh, I just got a call that Sydney has a spot in the Tues/Thur class at the same school (with Quinn's teacher from last year no less)! That is going to be so much better than the Lake Wilderness class! Sonship has a day care that we can utilize so that I can go to work earlier and get some more hours at some point. BIG stress off me now. Whew!

Well, on that note, I guess I'll go try to get some chores done.

Are you there Motivation? It's me, Traci.

I'm glad to have some energy back but wonder what the heck happened to the motivation?! It's driving me nuts!

I told K.C. last night that it takes so much energy for me to eat meat. I know it sounds crazy but I have to pshyc myself up to eat it. From the time I wake up until I actually eat it, that's what I'm doing in my mind. Telling myself what I'm going to eat and how good it's going to taste. Maybe that's where my motivation is. I'm spending it all for one meal a day.

At any rate, I really need to get back on track! The house is a disaster and the girls are borderline stinky. The only reason I have been showering is for work. I have to say, when I'm on track, I rock it pretty good. The house is clean, the kids are clean and happy, I don't feel like I run out of time during the day and my mind is calm. Why don't I just keep on keeping on? I know going back to work threw me off track - but that was two years ago! Why is it taking me so long to get back on that damn track?! I think this is a job for Flylady (sorry, posting from my phone so can't put in a link)!

I did get through one shelf in the garage yesterday. At least I pulled everything off of that shelf that I didn't want anymore. We'll see how long it takes to actually get that stuff OUT of the garage!

In the mean time, I've decided to give myself the rest of the week to be unmotivated and unproductive! Come Monday, I'm jumping back on track: Up early, chores done, gym time, fun time, work time, bed time. Operation Multi-Motivation is going into effect! Whatch out world, here I come....on Monday!

Acupunture Week 4 - and other stuff

Last week was a little rough for me. By about Friday I was feeling a lot better. I've been eating my serving of red meat daily - sometimes even two servings. My energy level is getting better, as is my mood. I don't think it's necessarily due to eating meat but rather where I am in my cycle. Week two of bleeding but this is my 'period' week so it's heavier. But, I have energy to get up out of bed and stay off the couch so it's all working together for me.

I don't get poked at all this week as my acupuncturist is on vacation. I'm curious to see how I'll feel at the end of the week. I've got a busy week with work too. Today is my only day off and yesterday I did an 8-hour shift. K.C. took the day off and went to the zoo with the girls. Saturday is inventory so that will be an easy work day. Plus, since I'm in membership now, I get to sit at a table and key things instead of doing the actual counting of things. Nice!

I have two main goals this week. One is getting preschool all finalized. I'm not sure about the one I currently have them registered for. I keep trying to get info but I'm not getting any calls back. And they have sent me a bill for Quinn but not for Sydney. I'm thinking I might try to go back to Sonship (where Quinn went last year) since they have a daycare too. My plan is to be able to work the 12:30-9 shift so that would mean that I would drop the girls off at 11:30, they would be in the daycare room for an hour or less then go to their respective classes (Q in jr. kindergarten and S in preschool). (If we go with Lake Wilderness, they might be in the same class). After class they would go back to the daycare room (the BIG room, as it's called - Quinn always wanted me to send her there last year) for a few hours until K.C. gets them picked up. That would only be 2 days during the week. The other days I wouldn't be working so there wouldn't be any daycare involved. That's how it would all work out in my perfect world, of course. We'll see how it all actually falls into place!

My second main goal is to start working on the garage. I want to get rid of the stuff that is trash or that we don't want anymore then get it all cleaned up. That way, I can start packing away all of the extra stuff from inside and we'll actually have a place to put it - other than stacked up in our rooms. We'll see how much I actually get done. My thought before yesterday was that I would just work on getting the house ready to sell a little bit at a time over the school year so that we could put it on the market in the Spring or so. But, K.C. told me yesterday that he may be getting an 8% pay cut (I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner, to be honest!) so the need to move is getting a littler higher on the list. But, if I'm the only one doing anything towards getting the house ready to sell then it's going to be ready when it's ready!

That's it for this post. I'd better get after it and make the most of my only day off!

A Vegetarian No More

Well, one thing is for sure. I'm totally out of practice cooking steak! Not that I was ever really a great steak griller/cooker etc. I brought home a cilantro/lime marinaded flank steak from work the other night. I slapped it on the grill yesterday for lunch. I didn't leave it on there long enough on one side so it was half cooked, half rare. I was going for not pink but still tender. After putting it back on the grill a second time, I finally finished cooking it in the microwave. The girls and I were hungry and couldn't wait anymore.

I fixed carne asada-type steak tacos for us. Sydney did pretty well with hers. She ate all of her steak so that she could get another tortilla with just cheese in it. Quinn had a few bites of steak but just didn't want to finish all of hers - and I really couldn't make her! I had halved my large tortilla, put in some steak, a little shredded cheese and some taco sauce. I got all of that one down. I made another one but only got about 1/2 of it down. I just didn't like the texture of the steak - too tough. I think I should have taken the advice of friends and went out for steak!

Anyway, nothing major happened. I tolerated it well. No immediate burst of energy. In fact, I just cried all afternoon - but more on that later. I headed to an acupuncture appointment and then we decided to go out for burgers for dinner. We ended up at Dairy Queen. I ordered a cheeseburger. It was actually pretty good. The texture wasn't perfect but I ate it with no problems. So far, I seem to be digesting it all well enough.

What finally pushed me to eat the meat in the first place is my energy levels. I couldn't believe it on Monday - I had no energy or even desire to do anything. The girls basically ate out of a cheerios bag for most of the day while I sat on the couch watching TV. It was really pathetic! I did manage, after a couple of handfuls of M & M's, to make us a late lunch. We were headed to the baseball game later that night so I just couldn't afford a 'hungry' meltdown before we could get there and get food. I actually had to stop and get a coke for some caffeine to get the energy to drive us all there. Pathetic!

The rest of the week hasn't been much better. I haven't been to the gym in I don't know how long. That's part of it, I'm sure. But I just can't get the energy to go! And when I was going, I didn't have the energy I needed for the rest of the day. I've also been very emotional this week. I cry at the drop of a hat. I haven't done that in years! I'm keeping us locked up in the house instead of getting out with friends. I stay in bed until the kids are begging me to give them breakfast. I feel like I'm being pulled back into my constant state of depression that I was in for so many years. Maybe it's the herbs doing it to me. Maybe it's my body healing itself and finding then riding itself of all of those bad emotions. I don't know but I don't like it one bit! I'm hoping it will get better soon. I don't like being this kind of mom that has no patience/time/energy/emotion left for her kids.

It all goes hand in hand with my cycle. I don't start my placebo pill until this Sunday yet I started bleeding a week early. Although it's not a lot of blood (thanks to the pill), it still takes all of the energy I have. It's getting worse too, which is why I am trying to get help for it. Maybe it's going to be that I need to eat meat at only certain times during the month. I don't know. What I do know is that having energy to be a mom is way more important to me than being a vegetarian!

Acupunture, week 3

Here's a recap of weeks 1 - 3:

After muscle testing, pulse taking and tongue looking, it was determined that I am blood deficient (low on blood and nutrients). The fastest way to get my levels back up to where they need to be? Eating red meat. Not a welcomed suggestion for a vegetarian! However, the suggestion came from a man who was a vegetarian for 15 years, so I listened. After all that, it was determined that I have an allergy/resistance to beef. No wonder! So, I had to be desensitized to beef. It has taken me 4 weeks to buy a stupid steak. We'll see if I actually cook it and then eat it!

I have to say, I'm really conflicted about eating meat. I refuse to eat lamb and I refuse to eat ground anything. So, it's steak. To most, eating steak everyday would be a dream. But for me, it's going to take a lot of psyching myself up and then trying not to throw up afterwards. Taking a bite out of a steak for me (or any other meat) is like taking a bite out of a person. GROSS!

But, I don't have to eat it forever, just until I can get my levels up to normal again. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.....

Last week I was given my first dosage of Chinese herbs. They are granules that I dissolve in hot water and then try to gag down. Imagine the smell of burnt hair. That's what this smells like. Now imagine what burnt hair would taste like and now you know what this tastes like. Three times a day I drink this crap. So gross. But I am determined to feel good so will suffer through all of this uncomfortable, disgusting short-term nastiness - for now!

My acupuncturist has set up a treatment plan and K.C. was nice enough to pay for half of it for me. My insurance covers a good portion of naturalpathic stuff but, of course, my treatment plan goes beyond what insurance covers. My thought is that I only have to pay this once and then insurance will cover all of my maintenance from then on out. Fingers crossed!

Day 4 of 33

I made our usual breakfast smoothie this morning. Since I have to drink a half gallon instead of my usual pint for this cleanse, and since I had company this morning, I was still drinking my quarter gallon of smoothie at lunch time! But, that didn't stop me from eating a salad! It was pretty simple (romaine, red pepper, cucumber, celery, carrots, chia seeds, salt, pepper and Green Smoothie Girl's basic dressing with garlic) but I really, really, really wanted to put some croutons on it.

Today was the day to start getting active again. Sydney and I took a nice long walk after we dropped Quinn off at school. It felt good to get out there in the fresh air! I figured I'd just walk this week since my knees have been hurting and then maybe next week I'll start my 5k training again.

I made another Cabbage Cool-Aid smoothie for our snack and had a few Teriyaki almonds with it. I made popcorn for the girls and really wanted some of that too!

Dinner was an arugula salad with pear, spiced pumpkin seeds and meyer lemon dressing from one of my raw cookbooks. It wasn't too bad - the dressing was too sour for me and the girls (I finally added more honey to mine and then the remaining dressing) but the salad was good.

Sydney and I made some Chewy Chocolate Freezer Fudge (another recipe from one of my raw cookbooks)so we had some of that for dessert. YUM!!!! I'm not real sure if I'm supposed to be having it on this cleanse - probably not since it's not exactly plant-based - but that's okay. I can live with myself if I eat some:)

Right now I am relaxing with some home brewed Kombucha tea.(I'm not technically supposed to have tea for the cleanse, but I figured the Kombucha is good for me so why not?!) It's not as good as the store-bought stuff so I've added even more grape juice to it (I added some when I bottled it). I think I don't care for it because I'm using green tea to brew it and it's a strong flavor. I'll have to experiment with some other teas I guess.

I never did get around to eating that avocado! But, my tummy didn't growl once today:) I stepped on the scale and think I lost some more weight, but we'll get the 'official' results on Wednesday (and I'll see how close my new scale is to Marrisa's).

It's good to be chewing food again! :)

Day 3 of 33

LAST DAY of just smoothies! I gotta tell ya, I don't think I could take another day of this!!! It didn't help at all when I went into the break room at work to get some more water and the company had bought pizza for us!! I almost cried - I wanted to eat it so bad. I think if there wasn't a room full of people, I would have taken a whole pizza - wouldn't have mattered what kind, just the first box I grabbed - and shoveled it into my mouth. ~sigh~

Today's smoothies:

K.C. made our usual breakfast smoothie this morning so I had some of that. Then I finished off the rest of the Tomato Tonic. I have to say, that one really grew on me:) In fact, I was wishing I had it after I saw that damn pizza! I think it would have helped. But, since it's heavy on the garlic, I spared my co-workers in the vault my nice garlic breath. Tonight I was trying to finish up the rest of the Kiwi Banana Krush, but I just can't do it. I'd rather my tummy growl at this point! I think it's because I drank a pretty sweet one all day at work and I just can't handle any more sweet. If I had more Tomato Tonic left.....

Anyway, this is the new one I made today:

Cabbage Cool-Aid

-water/ice
-green cabbage (I used napa cabbage)
-frozen mixed berries (blueberry, raspberry and blackberry)
-bananas
-tart apples
-agave

Can I just tell you how stupid crazy this stuff tastes like cherry kool-aid?! It's freaky! I made my co-workers taste it and they thought the same thing. SUPER good! I already know we'll be drinking this one A LOT this summer! If we add even more ice to it, it'll taste like a slushy. YUMMY!

Things I expected: more breakouts and a small headache.

Things I didn't expect: no more than usual bm's, more knee pain, some finger aches (think arthritis) and questioning my sanity (okay, so that happens pretty frequently). :)

I am so freakin excited to EAT tomorrow!!! I've cut up some carrots and celery and made some raw salad dressing in preparation. I threw some carrot sticks in the dehydrator too so I can toss them with some olive oil and salt tomorrow and eat them like chips. I hope they turn out how my mouth is hoping they will! I'm going to clean some romaine and chop up some red peppers and cucumber and onion and maybe have a salad for breakfast (okay, I won't but it is going to be REALLY hard to get another smoothie down first!)! Oh, I almost forgot about the avocado!! I hope I at least peel it before devouring it:)

Day 2 of 33

Today's smoothies:

Tomato Tonic
-water
-English cucumber
-celery
-carrots
-tomato
-spinach
-garlic
-salt
-pepper
-tobasco

Sounds like a bloody mary without the booze, right? I was hoping it would taste like one too. It kind of does I guess, bit it's super garlic-y so there will be some tweaks to it next time. It was a nice change from the usual one that I drank all day yesterday! Since this was a pretty strong one, I decided to make another one to have today too - for a little variety.

Kiwi Banana Krush
-water
-chard
-spinach
-kiwi
-banana
-pears
-frozen berries
-agave

This one is good! Will be even better when I let the fruit ripen more - oops! :)

I got to bed late and was up early but, I slept like a baby! Of course I've been grouchy all day because I'm tired and because I'm not acting on my food impulses! Tomorrow, aside from being the last day of just smoothies, I'll be at work for part of the day so I think that will help. And getting some more sleep, that ALWAYS helps!

So the things I expected that happened: breakouts, fatigue and grumpiness.

Things I didn't expect: knee aches and peeing all the time! You'd think I'd have the other bathroom issue but, no. I swear, I haven't peed this much since I was pregnant! It makes sense though, considering all of the smoothie recipes start with water!

Day 1 of 33

Here I go! I'm not expecting too much today, other than reminding myself to drink my food instead of eating it!

My smoothie today is my usual one - the one we have every morning for breakfast:

-Water
-Flax Oil
-Coconut Milk Kefir
-Hemp Protein Powder with Fiber
-Bee Pollen
-Vitamineral Green
-Agave
-Rainbow Chard(I try to very my greens week by week but usually end up with some sort of chard and collard greens)
-Bok Choy
-Spinach
-Cilantro (just because I have extra on hand)
-Cayenne Pepper
-Banana
-Frozen Mixed Fruit (peaches, white peaches, strawberries, pineapple, honeydew and blueberries)
I forgot to add my 1/4 of a lemon to this one, but it still turned out good!

The weightloss challenge I'm doing is 12 weeks so I'll just post my stats from that. I have my begining weight and measurements and will weigh in once a week. We'll do measurements again at week 6 (2/17) and then again at the end (3/31). My 33 days of detox and cleanse takes me to about the end of February so we'll see how well I do to maintain for another 30 days after that!

Let's see, these were my stats as of week 1 of the challenge (1/13):

Height = 5'1"
Weight = 131 pounds
Upper chest = 32.75"
Chest = 33.75"
Waist = 27.75"
Hips = 35"
Right thigh = 22"
Left thigh = 21.75"
Right arm = 10"
Left arm = 9.75"

At the weigh-in this week I was at 129.8 pounds. I'm already off to a good start!

I have the face of a teenager!

To have tight, unlined, bright skin is awesome! Too bad that's not the kind of teenage face I have. Nope, I have the blemished, pizza face skin right now. But, I'm okay with it! That's because I expected it. I know that the more good stuff I eat plus the less bad stuff I eat will equal my body purging all of the crap by any means it can. So, I look at it as a good thing....just as long as it doesn't last too long! On the positive side, my friend Tina asked if I was pregnant. She said I was glowing. Must just be the lights bouncing off all of the blemishes! :)

In other news, my Kombucha tea is almost ready for tasting! I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Let's see, what else....oh, I started my period early and boy is it a doozy!! I really hope my new eating plan will help with that! I'm just so tired of feeling tired, feeling like my body is being pulled apart and not being able to deal with things rationally! It's just getting worse. And we don't want that!

And finally, I go back into the vault next week! I'm so excited! I actually got to go in there for a few hours on Saturday. It was a little hectic as I was in there by myself during a really busy time! But, I managed. I found out today that I'll be closing by myself a few days in the next couple of weeks - yikes! I'm sure it'll be fine.....I hope anyway:)

K.C.'s Stress Test

K.C. just called and said his stress test went well. Seems everything is great with his heart, health wise, so that is great news!

His doctor wants to check his cholesterol so wrote up an order for that. She thinks his issue may have been/is esophigal related (like acid reflux) so we hope we have that figured out now.

He seems to be feeling better than he was so that's good!

I have my appointment tomorrow (still haven't started my period and a second HPT was negative but the pain seems to be mostly gone so who knows!) and Sydney has an appointment tomorrow too (she has some sort of rash type of thing going on so we'll see what that's all about.

That's all I have now, more tomorrow.

Short Health Update

I have other fun stuff to post later, but thought I'd give you an update on some health issues going on around here. Plus, I'm laying on the couch while posting from my blackberry so I can't upload pictures in that scenario!

K.C. hasn't been feeling well for the last month or so. He's been to his Internal Med. Dr. and he can't find anything wrong - liver is doing fine as far as they can tell. They are going to do another liver biopsy on 9/11 just to make sure all is still going well.

So, that Dr. sent him to a Cardiologist. They did an EKG on him, along with some other things, and found exactly nothing. His heart is good as far as they can tell. He is scheduled for a stress test this Thursday to see if that will reveal anything.

In the meantime, he went to a Primary Care doctor to see what they could find. They told him to take the pills he was prescribed the last time he was in and not feeling well(some sort of ant acid I think). I think they think it's acid re flux so have told him to eat bland foods too.

Hopefully one of the doctors will figure out what is going on with him so that he can start to feel better soon. I must point out that he is on schedule to have some weird health thing happen!

As if that wasn't enough, I've got my own thing going on. I've already made an appointment for a physical because I've been very tired the last month or so. At first I thought it was due to work and going to bed late/waking up early. But I should be use to that by now I would think. Plus, I've been drinking my green smoothies, which are packed with tons of good nutrition and energy so why that isn't helping is beyond me!

My abdomen, I feel, has been bloated/swollen for several months. I refuse to think it's just fat. I have dramatically changed my eating habits and get plenty of exercise so I don't know why it's going out instead of in. Until very recently, I haven't missed a period and have even taken pregnancy tests, all negative, so THAT's not the reason! Although, I would be right on track with K.C., if history were to repeat itself: K.C. gets a blood clot in his lung - 5 or 6 months later, I'm pregnant with Quinn. K.C. starts feeling bad a week or so before Syd is born and is finally diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis about a month after she is born. Now, he's feeling sick and I'm dealing with a swollen belly, pain, and my period is a few days late (but the HPT was negative - although I did get it at the dollar store so not real sure of the quality). The funny thing is, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned to K.C. about how at work, the garlic had an offensive smell to me (which is what happened during both my pregnancies) and he was dealing with some weird health issue so that meant that I HAD to be pregnant for sure! I had the thought that my nose knows what my body has yet to figure out:-) Who knows! I guess we'll see what happens this week and what the doctors have to say.

Now that I'm reading all of my symptoms, I'm convinced that I have internal bleeding! Can you say hypercondriac?!

Anyway, a pretty long post just to say that K.C. is an old fart and I'm beyond help!
